Eddy Kenzo refuses to back Bobi Wine’s return to the stage
Kenzo, who recently joined State House as a presidential advisor, said giving such counsel would be “stupid” since Bobi Wine openly uses music shows to preach his gospel of unseating Museveni.
Singer-turned-Presidential Advisor Eddy Kenzo has sensationally declared he cannot advise President Yoweri Museveni to allow Bobi Wine back to performing, claiming the opposition leader uses the stage as his “gun” to rally for regime change.
Kenzo, who recently joined State House as a presidential advisor, said giving such counsel would be “stupid” since Bobi Wine openly uses music shows to preach his gospel of unseating Museveni.
💬 “I can’t advise President Museveni to let Bobi Wine perform freely. Every time he gets on stage, he preaches change and calls for Museveni’s overthrow. The stage is his gun — so I can’t,” Kenzo stressed during an interview.
The BET award-winner went further, admitting he has personal unresolved issues with Bobi Wine, making the matter even more complicated.
Kenzo’s remarks come as debates continue over whether the government should lift restrictions on Bobi Wine’s performances, which were cut short in recent years amid heightened political tensions.
