The Ugandan entertainment scene is reeling after social media commentator and self-proclaimed "Love Surgeon," Roger Otis, issued a scathing critique of singer Geosteady following a high-profile press conference for his upcoming Valentine’s Day concert.

The event, which featured both Geosteady’s current partner, Hindu, and his famous ex, Prima Kardashi, has sparked a firestorm of debate online regarding relationship boundaries and public respect.

In a widely circulated post, Otis labeled the scenes leading up to and during the press conference as "appalling," specifically calling out Geosteady for failing to protect Hindu from the dominant presence of his ex-partner.

​According to the critique, while Prima Kardashi is acknowledged for her natural "showbiz instinct" and ability to generate publicity for Geosteady’s shows, her perceived dominance at the event was described as "stepping on Hindu’s toes." Otis argued that protecting a partner involves more than just physical safety; it requires shielding them from looking "weak" or being overshadowed in public settings.

 The commentary went as far as to label the singer's refusal to set firmer boundaries as "simp behavior," suggesting that by allowing his ex to remain a central figure in his current public life, he is disrespecting his new relationship.

​The situation has served as a flashpoint for fans, with the Love Surgeon concluding that having children with a former partner should not grant that individual the right to "continuously walk in your shadow" once you have moved on.
